In line with the global trend of conducting science festivals, NES International School Mumbai has been organizing National Science Festival, for the last 4 years in association with the IB schools of South Asia International Baccalaureate Schools Association (SAIBSA).
The objective is to ignite creative, collective scientific thinking and interaction among the participants that enhances their further interest in science. The National Science Festival, 2016 is being organized by NESISM on Saturday, 27th February, 2016 at 9.30 am in the school premise.
Nobel Laureate Dr Ramanujan's birthday'- 27th February is taken every year to bring in the Science Festival which has attracted schools from Indian and overseas,with special reference to SAIBSA schools and educators, as the the competition in Science offers a wide canvas : science exhibition of working models, quiz, bio- jewelry, essay writing, drawing & painting, debates, skit, film-making, dance, Green Parliament and science educators' seminar.
